We are excited to announce the grand opening of the new terminal buildings at Antalya Airport. With this expansion, the airport can now handle up to 82 million passengers per year (up from 35 million previously), making it the second largest airport in the country after Istanbul (90 million).
What's Changed:
-
The international terminal has been expanded from 90,143 m² to 224,000 m².
-
The domestic terminal has increased from 36,859 m² to 75,000 m².
Additionally, a 29-kilometer pipeline has been built to enhance transport logistics, allowing aviation fuel to be delivered directly from the seaport to the airport. This eliminates the need for thousands of fuel trucks on the roads, significantly reducing the burden on the transport network.
Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu noted: “We are removing around 60,000 fuel trucks from road traffic each year.”
In 2024, the airport served 39.2 million passengers, and continues to show growth, confirming the need for this infrastructure upgrade.
Now, Antalya is not only a popular resort but also a powerful international aviation hub. For investors, this is a fantastic opportunity: choose apartments in completed complexes and start earning rental income this season!
