TYPES OF REAL ESTATE

We offer a wide range of real estate along the entire Mediterranean coast and beyond. We especially recommend that you take a closer look at such Turkish resorts as Alanya and Antalya - these two cities are leaders in the number of real estate properties purchased by foreigners in Europe, including Russian speakers. There is active construction here and you can find both interesting investment projects and options for investing in real estate, as well as apartments for recreation and living even for the most demanding and sophisticated customer. Types of real estate abroad can be divided into 4 categories:
Apartments
These are apartments in residential complexes or detached houses - the easiest and most common way to invest in real estate. When buying an apartment, you need to consider a number of factors:
- in sales ads and in documents, the gross area is listed, which includes part of the area of the landing, proportional to the area of the apartment;
- in Turkey, apartments of any layout provide for a combination of a kitchen with a living room. Accordingly, an apartment with one bedroom and a kitchen combined with a living room is called “1 + 1”, with two bedrooms - “2 + 1”, etc. An apartment without bedrooms (with a kitchen combined with a living room) is a studio;
- the price of apartments depends most on the year of construction, the infrastructure of the complex and proximity to the sea. Prices for new 1 + 1 apartments start from 40 thousand euros, but sometimes options even for 30 - 35 thousand “slip through”.
It is worth considering that when purchasing apartments in Turkey, the land on which the residential complex is located also becomes the property of the residents in shares corresponding to the area of the apartments.
Villas and houses
Most often they are two or three-story buildings. Villas are usually built in two types: separate and semi-detached. Semi-detached villas are houses that are built for two owners. Any villa has its own plot of land. At the same time, usually the closer to the sea, the smaller the area of the plot, since land near the sea is very expensive and its share in the total cost often exceeds the cost of the construction itself. It should be noted that when buying a villa in Turkey, the land on which it is located also becomes the property of the buyer. The cost of villas on the Turkish coast usually starts from 60 thousand euros.
Commercial real estate
Premises for warehouses, retail space, offices, which may be of interest to our clients both for the purpose of investing in real estate and for the purpose of doing business. Renting office and retail space in a good location can bring the owner significantly more than renting out similar areas of residential real estate, although the construction of commercial real estate is usually cheaper due to lower costs for repair work.
Land plots
They may be of interest to investors for the purpose of resale or for the purpose of building residential or commercial real estate on the plot. At the same time, a common option for investing in land plots is shared participation, in which the investor provides his land plot for construction, and the developer builds a residential/commercial real estate object on it. In this case, the profit received as a result of the project implementation is distributed between the parties in predetermined proportions.
In this article, we got acquainted with the main types of real estate abroad, as you noticed, they are not very different from ours, but there is one significant difference - this is the simplicity of acquiring and registering private property, reliably protected by law.
