By 2040, Europe will be visited by 1.12 billion tourists, accounting for 47% of all international arrivals. Such data was provided by a joint study by Google and Deloitte.
The Asia-Pacific region, which includes countries such as China, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and South Korea, will rank second with 640 million arrivals (27%).
Spain will become the most visited country, receiving 110 million tourists.
