In 2012, it revealed plans for the creation of five golf courses (18 holes each) in Alanya as an alternative to Belek's current nine.

In 2012, on the northern slope of the Taurus Mountains, 25 km from Alanya, a place was allocated for the creation of the Akdag Ski Center.

These projects, besides increasing the quality of tourism in Alanya and extending the season, assist promote business development in the construction sector.

Mahmutlar

Mahmutlar is the newest and most dynamically developed area. An international airport was built 25 km from Mahmutlar (also for domestic flights). Mahmutlar is very interesting in terms of recreation and investment. Construction is constantly in full swing here and housing prices are growing especially dynamically. Construction does not interfere with vacationers, because the country's authorities do not allow construction during the holiday season.

According to the data of the General Cadastral Department of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (report "Acquisition of property by foreigners" 2019), it is indicated that 45,483 foreigners have purchased the property in Turkey, purchasing 15% more properties than in 2018. It is also noted there that in general in Alanya and Antalya 9,000 foreigners from 44 countries have purchased real estate. Thus, the share of Alanya is 20% and according to this indicator, Alanya immediately follows Istanbul.

At the same time, according to the data of the Department of Foreign Citizens of the Alanya Police Department in the Alanya region, 22,715 foreigners received a residence permit, among which Russians occupied the first place. 4,499 Russians have a residence permit.
